YOUR FOOD LOOKS GOOD. DO YOU?
KORA
ACADEMY
Your profile picture is the first impression of you as a Cook. A great photo will help set your profile up for success and get you more bookings!
What does a good profile photo look like? It should be friendly, inviting and clear.

Follow these guidelines so your profile photo can be approved and made visible to Hosts.
DO's
-
Profile photos should clearly identify the you and not include anyone else
-
Use a current photo that accurately represents who you are today so a Host can easily recognize you upon arrival to their home
-
Choose a photo that is friendly and inviting - a smiling headshot is perfect!
-
Pick a well-lit photo that shows your entire face, chin to forehead with clear view of your eyes - avoid wearing sunglasses or hats
-
A photo that shows you as a cook is a bonus!
Examples of great profile photos
DONT's
-
Don't include other people in the picture - leave out co-workers, children, family members, etc.
-
Don't choose that party animal or controversial picture of you - there are many other sites where you can use those photos ;)
-
Don't be too far away in the picture - Hosts won't be able to recognize you if you're too far away!
-
Don't use heavy filters that distort the way you look - you know the snapchat photos we're talking about
-
Don't take selfies in mirrors
Examples of not-so-great profile photos that WON'T be approved
